The Bird’s Nest Off-Site Catering

We offer several different catering options. If possible, we are happy to host your special occasion at The Bird’s Nest or Bird & Jim; however, if our available times and space constraints do not work for you, we are happy to bring you and your guests our quality cuisine.

We offer off-site catering for 30 guests to 250 in the Estes Valley and surrounding areas. If you have any questions, please reach out to us at info@thebirds-nest.com. Please see our family style pick up options for groups under 20.
Reserve your date:
To secure your special date you will connect with an Event Manager, by clicking the "Get A Quote”. Once you have agreed on an available date and time, menu planning, tasting and walkthroughs dates are determined. What to expect moving forward, booking fee, room fee, staffing fees, food & beverage cost all broken down by event coordinator with a deposit schedule.
Your Event Dream, Our Event Team:
A Bird's Nest Event Manager will be assigned after you fill out the form – click on the “Get A Quote" button on the event page of this website. They will be your point of contact. They will be there for your walkthrough, tasting, arrange the budget, menu, bar details, the timeline for event and day of payment, management, and checkout. Our event manager arrives two hours before your event start time and stays throughout the event. Your Bird’s Nest Event Manager will be onsite on the day of your event and will help direct your vendors and decorating team, ready the event space, and take care of your getting ready requests and food and beverage/alcohol service.

Bird's Nest Staff will not decorate or load in or out your items. You will need to assign a load-out team for the end of the event to gather any items you want to keep. Please remember that our Event Management keeps office hours that will be communicated with you. If a personal emergency occurs, another event manager will be debriefed and onsite.
Buffet Levels:
With this format your guest will have individual personalized menus chosen by you from our available items. The menus will have options per course for your guest to choose from. During the planning phase, you and your Event Manager will work through the menu choices put together by our Executive Chef.

Please keep in mind this is buffet style of serving not all you can eat.
Groups 10-20 Pick Up Family Style
Chef Thomas has designed a family style pick up menu available for smaller groups ranging from 10-20 people. Prearrangement is necessary. Please reach out to info@thebirds-nest.com to let us cook for your gathering.
Bar:
Depending on your event space alcohol restrictions we. can discuss bar options. some event spaces provide bar services and do not allow outside bar catering. If bar services are allowed you have the option of a hosted bar, a partially hosted bar, or a cash bar. We have a variety of liquors, wines, cocktails and mock-tails available. Pricing sheets, options, and special requests will be worked out with your Event Manager during the planning phase. Our Sommelier can also create a wine package to meet you and your guests taste and be present during the event.

Discounts:
If we contract your off-site catering event we offer a discount of $10 per person if you host your rehearsal dinner or pre-event dinner at The Bird's Nest!
